Why we Bake
Hello, my name is Demi, the baker behind Deem’s Cookies.
I started baking during COVID-19, mostly as a hobby, but quickly discovered it was more than that. Baking became a way to find calm in a busy student life and a space where I could be creative. Dreaming up new recipes is still one of my favorite escapes.
With my Asian roots, I love experimenting with flavors you don’t always expect in a cookie, while still giving the classics the attention they deserve. You’ll find both in every drop.
The first real test came on King’s Day, when my boyfriend and I decided to sell cookies for the very first time. By the end of the day, over 260 cookies had been sold in Amsterdam. What started as baking for friends and family quickly turned into something bigger.
Deem’s is my way of sharing those moments with you, small-batch cookies made to slow you down and make you smile.
Frequently Asked Questions
Kept cool and dry, our cookies stay fresh for up to 7 days after arrival. For the best experience, warm them in the oven or airfryer at 180°C for 2–3 minutes.
Yes. Big moments deserve sweet details. Send us a message via DM or deemscookies@gmail.com for custom orders, and we’ll bake something special.
At the moment, we only ship within the Netherlands. We’re working on making our cookies travel further soon.
Our cookies may contain gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, or traces of them. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee allergen-free cookies at this time.
We bake in small drops. Once pre-orders open, you can place your order online via Google Forms. After baking, we carefully pack your cookies and either ship them to you or make them available for pick-up (depending on the drop).
Besides pre-orders through our website, you can occasionally find Deem’s Cookies at local cafés and events in Rotterdam and Utrecht. Check our Instagram for the latest updates.
